About us

Robert Field established his landscape garden company in 1985 after completing a National Diploma in Landscape Construction at Merrist Wood Agricultural College and a BSc in Building Technology at UMIST. Robert started his company because he wanted to put into practice his knowledge and his love of gardens to help his customers get the garden they have always dreamed of having.

Robert Field Landscapes was quickly accepted into BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) in 1987. Membership of BALI is governed by stringent conditions, with companies having to pass a series of tests and demonstrate on an on-going basis that their company provides the highest standard of quality, workmanship and service. After 29 years as a contractor, often helping with the heavy work, Robert Field is now concentrating on the less physical side of landscaping and uses his considerable experience to help others.
